Jaimee Bull wins 5th Straight title in Europe!

by Someone Who Can’t Even Run 38

They say in Italy, things age like wine and victories taste like espresso: short, sweet, and meant to be savored slowly. But someone forgot to tell Jaimee Bull, who’s been winning so fast this summer the rest of the field has barely had time to grab a cappuccino.

Sunday in San Gervasio—Italy’s most sun-drenched, vine-hugged slalom sanctuary—Jaimee Bull claimed her 5th consecutive win on the European leg of the Water Ski Pro Tour. That’s right: Morocco, Monaco, Portugal, Botaski, and now San Gervasio. She’s currently undefeated in Europe, and sits atop the pro standings like she’s got squatter’s rights. At this point, you half expect her to pull out a folding chair and set up camp at the top of the podium.

But it wasn’t a walk in the park. It never is at San G.

In the finals, Jaimee faced off against Allie Garcia—the breakout rookie with a grin like California sun and a lean, fluid turn that’s been making veterans nervous. The match-up felt less like a generational torch passing and more like an arm-wrestle at a Roman colosseum: the crowd was loud, the pressure was heavy, and there were no secrets left on the table.

Jaimee ran 5@39 off. Smooth. Composed. The kind of 39 that doesn’t scream, but whispers, “good luck matching this.” And Allie? Well, she came out swinging but fell just short at 3@39.

It was Bull’s fifth win in as many events, and it came with all the hallmarks we’ve come to expect: surgical turns, freakish composure, and a rope length that most skiers never see in a lifetime. She doesn’t flinch. She doesn’t blink. And she doesn’t—apparently—lose.

There’s a kind of quiet about Jaimee Bull’s dominance. She doesn’t bark, doesn’t boast. She skis like she’s on a personal quest for stillness at 55 kph. The rope gets shorter, the pressure builds, and somehow she gets smoother. It’s not so much aggressive as it is inevitable—like watching a glacier move or Tom Hanks win an Oscar in the 90s.

But don’t let the scoreboard fool you: the competition isn’t napping. The women’s pro field is as deep and dangerous as it’s ever been. Allie Garcia is a headline waiting to happen. Allie Nicholson, the current Master Champ, is lurking like a local storm. And if you think Whitney and Regina won’t show up swinging later this season, then you haven’t been paying attention.

For now, though, it’s Jaimee’s tour. Europe is hers. The standings are hers. The summer has been, quite frankly, hers.

But it’s a long season. And while five wins in a row might make a dynasty, it also paints a target. Every skier she’s beaten has a score circled in red ink and a ski bag full of grudges.

Still, if you were a betting man, you’d have to ask yourself one thing:

Who’s gonna stop Jaimee Bull?

Right now, it’s not clear if it’ll be anyone… or if she’ll simply run out of buoys before she runs out of wins.
