Matteo has become known for his ability to take slalom skiing to a higher level of understanding. As a top Italian pro and former U21 World Champion, he has climbed the ranks of the pro scene and put out scores into 41’off in the pro arena. He attacks on the water with a ferocious focus. He’s efficient and technical when he wants to be, but bold and strong when he needs to be. His ability to meld styles of slalom technique to optimize his own strengths shows in his ability to progress his personal bests and consistency. His urgency for learning all aspects of skiing is reflected is his tireless work with not only his skiing but in his coaching and goal setting of other skiers. After completing his PHD in Sports Psychology in Florida, he returned to his home country to put his education to action. He’s currently running Jolly Ski School and the San Gervasio Pro-Am alongside his father and sister.
